Interested workers request your job. You see their profile, rating, and their parent's approval status before you pick. Contact details stay private on both sides until you select.

Posting a job is free. When you fund a job, your checkout total may include the worker's job pay, PocketChange's service fee, and applicable payment-processing costs — you'll see the full total before confirming. Your payment is securely authorized through Stripe before the job begins, and the worker's pay is released to their parent-linked payout account according to the job-completion process. If a job is cancelled before it starts, the authorized amount is released back to you.

After each job, both sides leave a rating. Your review helps other neighbors, and a worker's rating helps you make confident picks next time.

What if I need to cancel before the job starts?

Cancel from the job details page and your full payment hold is released back to you automatically.

What if the worker doesn't show up?

Mark the job as a no-show. The hold is refunded and no rating is exchanged.

What if the work isn't done to standard?

Don't mark the job complete. Open a support ticket from the job page and PocketChange Support will help resolve it.

Is my payment information secure?

All payments run through Stripe. PocketChange never sees or stores your card details.
